About Kaitlin Piette
Hello my name is Kaitlin Piette. I am a graduate at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point back in May 2019. Majoring in Communication Media Studies and minoring in Spanish and International Studies, my focus became clear in wanting to help tell stories and preserve moments through photography and videography and video editing. From people around me to knowing many different people around the world, I started centralizing my skills in learning how to tell stories of others through the meaning of objects, body language, and specifically the art of looking. Using these unique qualities to develop work in the photos and videos I created both independently and with others at my university. Through preserving memories or capturing moments to help define ones self, the goal I set when audiences or patrons see the end result of my work is to inspire, learn, discover, and think.
